Page - Class Teacher
The Hill Primary Academy is firmly set on an upward path. Serving the former mining community of Thurnscoe near Rotherham, our school is one full of the most engaging and hardworking children, hungry for the next stage of our shared development. We are currently seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our team of committed and dedicated staff to teach in either Key Stage One or Two.
A message from our Principal, Sean Woolley:
“I am looking to coach and develop outstanding teachers to become Leaders of people as we work towards moving the school out of special measures.
I want staff at The Hill who can drive and inspire adults and students alike. Staff who are driven every day to the highest possible outcomes. Outstanding practitioners in their own right, who are ready to model outstanding practice to others.”
As a leading classroom practitioner you will work alongside developing teachers, modelling practice at the highest level. You will be able to break down your own practice and talk through strategies you are using. You will be able to evidence the impact you have had in your current and past roles and will be ready to use your skills to bring similar impact to the children at The Hill.
What we can offer:
- Clear career development
- Support in your role
- Work with outside agencies
- Leadership opportunities for the right candidate
- Leadership development training – both in house through Reach4 and through Ambition School Leadership
- Networking opportunities across a range of schools, clusters and counties
- An amazing opportunity to have an impact on a fantastic community.
If this opportunity is for you then arrange a visit to see the impact you could have.
Closing date for applications: Wednesday, 5th April at 12 midday.
