About Us

Reach4 is a new multi-academy trust and a sister trust to REAch2, the largest and most successful primary academy trust in the country. Reach4 operates as a separate, but complementary, organisation led by Libby Nicholas, CEO.

We value all-round development of the individual, through arts, sports, leadership opportunities, enrichment and community. This is encapsulated in the skills, qualities and personalities we foster in our pupils.

The Reach4 Academy Trust logo communicates the values collaboration, development and aspiration. The three figures are coming together in the shape of a tree, which represents growth, whilst the tallest figure reaches upwards, towards a star, which is above and beyond the highest branch of the tree.

CEO, Reach4 Academy Trust

This is a very exciting time for the Reach family of schools. The creation of Reach4 enables us to bring our values and shared drive to improve pupil outcomes across primary, secondary and all-through phases. We are committed to the central pillars of personalised learning and our school improvement strategy centres around this core purpose. We do not subscribe to the ‘schooling’ stance of a results-driven philosophy but rather state emphatically that education is about much more than just attainment.

The Reach4 by-line, “Inspiring Beyond Measure” embodies this in stating our commitment to ‘educate not just school’. Key to what we believe, the Reach4 pupil qualities and dispositions of Resilience, Empathy, Aspiration, Contribution and Happiness are encouraged and nurtured within our academies. Together with the qualities and dispositions of our pupils, the Trust equally applies expectations to staff, underpinning its work by five core value partners; responsibility and leadership, aspiration and development, honesty and integrity, enjoyment and innovation and collaboration and inclusion. These are used as a measure of individual, school and Trust progress and as a guide to direction and change.

Reach4 Value Partners

The work of the Reach4 Academy Trust is underpinned by five core Value Partners, which are equally applicable to pupils, staff and the work of the Trust itself.
Each pair of Value Partners is accompanied by a call for action in the form of a hashtag, which is used in verbal, digital and hard copy communications.
The Value Partners can be used as a measure of individual, school and Trust progress and as a guide to inform the direction of change.
